CJGA National Tournament Registration Now Open  

The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is now accepting tournament applications for Linkster and Junior Tour events across the country. Announced back in December, the 2015 CJGA National schedule includes over 90 events domestically from coast to coast for junior golfers aged 5-19.

Costabile Defends Her Title at the 22nd CJGA World Junior Challenge

Palm Harbor, FL (December 30, 2014) Steady rain greeted juniors today at the final round of the 22nd annual CJGA World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club. Selena Costabile of Thornhill, ON successfully defended her Girls title while Peter Weng of China and Vince van Veen of the Netherlands capture their respective divisional titles.

Palm Harbor, FL (December 29, 2014) –  The sun continued to shine today at the second round of the 22th annual CJGA World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club. With the sun beaming down, green speeds steady increased into the afternoon as juniors found themselves battling to maintain their position on the leaderboard.


CJGA World Junior Challenge Underway at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club  

Palm Harbor, FL (December 28, 2014)   The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) kicked off the 22nd annual CJGA World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek early this morning at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club. Warm sunny skies greeted over 170 juniors from 14 countries competing on three separate courses. In the opening round the Boys 15-19 division took on the Copperhead course, the Boys 14 & Under division and Girls 11-19 division started on the Island course while the CJGA Linkster Tour competed on the North Course.


Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club Set to Host CJGA World Junior Challenge  

Palm Harbor, FL (December 27, 2014)  The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) will conduct the 22nd annual CJGA World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club starting tomorrow. A field of over 170 juniors representing 14 countries will flock to the Palm Harbor resort in hopes of putting their name on the annual Stan Boshier trophy.


Bria Jansen Recipient of 2014 Helena Harbridge Sportsmanship Award  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (December 26, 2014) - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce Bria Jansen is the recipient of the 2014 Helena Harbridge Sportsmanship Award.

Jansen, a 17-year old member at River Spirit Golf Club in Calgary, Alberta is only the second Alberta native to earn the honorable distinction for an award that recognizes sportsmanship, dedication, and commitment in the game of golf.

Richmond Hill, ON (December 23, 2014) The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the release of the 2015 national tournament schedule. Heading into the 23rd year of operation, the CJGA will provide unmatched opportunities for junior golfers aged 5-19 right across Canada with 91 domestic events on the national schedule.

CJGA Alumnus Brooke Henderson Announces she is going pro  

Making the announcement today with the assistance of the Ottawa Senators, Brooke Henderson, the #1 ranked female amateur golfer in the world announced she is turning professional.

A native of Smiths Fall, Ont., Henderson was a member of the Canadian Junior Golf Association and captured three tournament titles during her junior stint with the CJGA. The most impressive victory came in 2010 when at the young age of thirteen she dominated a national field to capture the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship by 26 strokes. That tournament she shot an incredible third round 67 (-5) and never looked back.
