CJGA Alumnus Brooke Henderson Announces she is going pro  

Making the announcement today with the assistance of the Ottawa Senators, Brooke Henderson, the #1 ranked female amateur golfer in the world announced she is turning professional.

Canada Finishes Sixth at the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship  

Yangjiang, China (November 23, 2014) – The final round of Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship took place today at Yangjiang Lake Facing Golf Club in China. It was a week of sunshine filled with great golf on a tough golf course layout. Chun-An Yu of Chinese Taipie took home the Boys division shooting a 278 (-10) total while teammate Ching-Tzu Chen took home the Girls division shooting a 285 (-3). For the fifth straight year Australia (1453) took home the team title.


Canada in Sixth Place After Round One of the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship  

Yangjiang, China – (November 20, 2014) – The first round of the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship got under way today at the Yangjiang Lake Facing Golf Club in Yangjiang, China. Conditions remained warm and sunny throughout the day while juniors battled the tough course layout. It was a rough day for the group of Canadians as they struggled to shake the off the cob webs.


CJGA Team Canada Set to Compete at the 14th Annual Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship  

Yangjiang, China – (November 19, 2014) – Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted members of CJGA Team Canada as they assembled in mainland China to prepare for the 14th annual Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship at Yangjiang Lake Facing Golf Club in Yangjiang, China. The event, which is hosted by PGA Tour professional Aaron Baddeley, will have over 75 juniors from around the world including Australia, Asia, and North America.


CJGA Alum Nick Taylor wins PGA TOUR’s Sanderson Farms Championship  

Nick Taylor, a former junior standout and CJGA alum fired a final round 66 to win the PGA TOUR's Sanderson Farms Championship today by two strokes. Taylor finished the tournament at 16-under-par.

It was just Taylor’s 13th career start on the PGA Tour and he becomes the first Canadian to win on the tour since Stephen Ames in 2009.


CJGA mourns the sudden loss of Association’s Accountant Tom Scurfield  

The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of accountant Tom Scurfield on Thursday October 30, 2014. He joined the CJGA in 2011 bringing the office to life with his bold, charismatic personality.


The Great Waterway Classic Returning to Loyalist G&CC in 2015  

Bath, ON (October 17, 2014) - The Great Waterway Classic, an official PGA TOUR Canada event, will return to Loyalist Golf & Country Club in Bath, Ontario in 2015. Having hosted the event for the first time in the event’s three-year history last season, Loyalist will see the event take place August 24-30.


Kim, Desmarchais, Jacques Capture Titles at the CJGA Quebec Fall Series  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (October 6, 2014) – Fall weather finally arrived this past weekend at the CJGA Quebec Fall Series at Le Victorien in Mirabel, Que. Juniors battled cool temperatures plus rain on Saturday and high winds on Sunday to close out the final tour stop in the province of Quebec.
