England Golf Crowned Champions of Canadian International Junior Challenge  

Douro-Dummer, Ont. (September 11, 2014) – England Golf captured the team title today at the Canadian International Junior Challenge at Wildfire Golf Club. Cold, windy conditions challenged the field of international juniors in today’s final round however that was not enough to slow the English boys as they cruised to a sixteen stroke victory.


England Golf Extends Lead after Second Round at Canadian International Junior Challenge  

Douro-Dummer, Ont. (September 10, 2014) – England Golf extended it’s team lead as the second round of the Canadian International Junior Challenge was contested today at Wildfire Golf Club under grey, overcast skies. The English side doubled their lead after shooting an even-par (216) second round team total to Team USA (San Diego Junior Golf Association) two-over (218) second round team total. The English boys are the only team under par with a two-day team total of 428 (-4) with the American squad sitting at even-par with a 432 team total.  


England Golf Takes Opening Round Lead at Canadian International Junior Challenge  

Douro-Dummer, Ont. (September 9, 2014) – Overcast skies and a cool breeze welcomed the international field of junior golfers competing at Wildfire Golf Club this week as the first round of the Canadian International Junior Challenge teed off this morning. England Golf, champions of five of the last six championships jumped out to an early two stroke lead over Team USA (San Diego Junior Golf Association). England Golf opened with a four under-par team total (212).


Wong, Chung, and Park Capture CJGA Fall Series at Caledon over the Weekend  

Bolton, ON (September 7, 2014) – Caledon Woods Golf Club played host to the Canadian Junior Golf Association over the weekend in the first of four CJGA Ontario Fall Series events, presented by Bushnell. With summer like conditions, Kyle Chung (Brampton, ON), Adam Park (Toronto, ON) and Kristen Wong (Richmond Hill, ON) all captured their respective divisional titles beginning the fall campaign on a strong note.


Wildfire Golf Club set to Host the 8th Annual Canadian International Junior Challenge  

Douro-Dummer, Ont. (September 7, 2014) – The 8th annual Canadian International Junior Challenge is set to begin Tuesday at Wildfire Golf Club in Ontario cottage country, with eight teams ready to challenge for the coveted title. The competition, which is made of four man teams, will look to knock off defending champion Canada in the three day stroke play competition. Wildfire Golf Club will become only the third host venue in the event’s history.


Sunny Skies Welcomed Junior Golfers to First Round of The Nike Golf Junior Championship  

Carlisle, Ont. (August 26, 2014) – Juniors golfers were greeted with sunny skies, as they took to the course to compete in the first round of the Nike Golf Junior Championship at Carlisle Golf and Country Club. Although some of the greens were tricky to read the golfers powered through and carded some low scores.


Junior Golfers Gather at Carlisle Golf and Country Club for 10th Annual Nike Golf Junior Championship  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (August 21, 2014) – The CJGA’s fourth and final national championship is set to take place at Carlisle Golf and Country Club on August 25 – 28. Junior members from across Canada were selected from previous qualifier to be a part of the 10th Annual Nike Golf Junior Championship. These players are looking to put on a show as they are all vying to be declared champions at such a prestigious tournament.


Cunningham, Andrason, Weber, Fitchett and Jauhal Take Home First Place at Rattlesnake Point  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (August 20, 2014) – Junior Linkster tour members were greeted with sunny skies as they took to Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in hopes to take home their respective divisional titles. A group of highly talented Linkster members played the rattler, Rattlesnake’s 9-hole academy course on August 19. Tyler Cunningham (Milton, Ont.), Elias Andrason (Toronto, Ont.), Michael Weber (Burlington, Ont.), Megan Fitchett (Oshawa, Ont.) and Laura Jauhal (Ancaster, Ont.) all walked away champions.


Creighton, Margeson and Chandler Victorious at CJGA Atlantic Junior Championship  

Halifax, NS (August 14, 2014) – Oakfield Golf and Country Club was faced with a packed field of highly talented golfers on August 11 – 12 all vying to take home the top spot and be declared the champion at this years CJGA Atlantic Junior Championship. Although the first day posed a bit challenging to the golfers with rain falling throughout the round, they were greeted with sunny skies heading into the second round. Shaun Margeson (Fall River, NS), Myles Creighton (Digby, NS) and Allison Chandler (Chester, NS) took home the top spots in their division.


Ayer extends lead at AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship  

LONDON, Ontario—During the second round of the AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship, Mia Ayer of Waco, Texas, improved her lead to eight strokes with a two-day total of 5-under-par 137. In the Boys Division, Peter Beneteau of Odessa, Ontario, Samuel Foust of Edina, Minnesota, and Thomas DeMarco of LaSalle, Ontario, are all tied for first at 1-under-par 141 heading into the final round at Greenhills Golf Club.
