Junior Golfers Gather at Carlisle Golf and Country Club for 10th Annual Nike Golf Junior Championship  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (August 21, 2014) – The CJGA’s fourth and final national championship is set to take place at Carlisle Golf and Country Club on August 25 – 28. Junior members from across Canada were selected from previous qualifier to be a part of the 10th Annual Nike Golf Junior Championship. These players are looking to put on a show as they are all vying to be declared champions at such a prestigious tournament.


Cunningham, Andrason, Weber, Fitchett and Jauhal Take Home First Place at Rattlesnake Point  

Richmond Hill, Ont. (August 20, 2014) – Junior Linkster tour members were greeted with sunny skies as they took to Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in hopes to take home their respective divisional titles. A group of highly talented Linkster members played the rattler, Rattlesnake’s 9-hole academy course on August 19. Tyler Cunningham (Milton, Ont.), Elias Andrason (Toronto, Ont.), Michael Weber (Burlington, Ont.), Megan Fitchett (Oshawa, Ont.) and Laura Jauhal (Ancaster, Ont.) all walked away champions.

Creighton, Margeson and Chandler Victorious at CJGA Atlantic Junior Championship  

Halifax, NS (August 14, 2014) – Oakfield Golf and Country Club was faced with a packed field of highly talented golfers on August 11 – 12 all vying to take home the top spot and be declared the champion at this years CJGA Atlantic Junior Championship. Although the first day posed a bit challenging to the golfers with rain falling throughout the round, they were greeted with sunny skies heading into the second round. Shaun Margeson (Fall River, NS), Myles Creighton (Digby, NS) and Allison Chandler (Chester, NS) took home the top spots in their division.


Ayer extends lead at AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship  

LONDON, Ontario—During the second round of the AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship, Mia Ayer of Waco, Texas, improved her lead to eight strokes with a two-day total of 5-under-par 137. In the Boys Division, Peter Beneteau of Odessa, Ontario, Samuel Foust of Edina, Minnesota, and Thomas DeMarco of LaSalle, Ontario, are all tied for first at 1-under-par 141 heading into the final round at Greenhills Golf Club.


Ayer leads at AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship  

LONDON, Ontario – After two weather delays at the AJGA / CJGA Junior Championship, Mia Ayer of Waco, Texas, leads the Girls Division with a 3-under –par 68. Due to the delays, the first round of the Boys Division will continue on Wednesday at 8 a.m.


Canada Wins the 2014 Euro Junior Golf Cup  

St. Andrews, Scotland (August 8, 2014) - Rain and lighting sent juniors scrambling today at the final round of the Euro Junior Golf Cup at Drumoig Golf Club in St. Andrews. With a shorten round Canada finished with 14 points on the day for a team total 43.5 to secure the title. Scotland finished just two points back with 41.5 points while team USA finished third with 32 points. This is Canada's third title in four years.

Travale, Bodfield and Gudz Victorious at CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship  

St. Catharines, Ont. (August 8, 2014) – Johnny Travale (Hamilton, Ont.), Kennedy Bodfield (St. Catharines, Ont.) and Keaton Gudz (Victoria, BC) were able to manage the pressure today as all three juniors won their respective divisions at the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course in St. Catharines, Ontario.


Juniors Capitalize on Moving Day at Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship  

St. Catharines, Ont. (August 8, 2014) – It was another fantastic day of golf at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course for the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship as the leaderboard tightened after moving day. Juniors will have one last day of competition to battle it out for this prestigious national championship.


Canada Jumps into the Lead at the Euro Junior Golf Cup  

St. Andrews, Scotland (August 7, 2014) – Sunny skies greeted juniors today as they teed off at Leven Links for the second round of the Euro Junior Golf Cup. With 18 points today Canada overcame a 4 ½ deficit to now lead the tournament over Scotland by 1 ½ points while USA sits third with a total of 20 ½ points.
