Qualifying Information
CJGA Team Canada will look to defend its 2007 title at the popular Mizuno North America Cup in 2008.  The Ryder Cup style event will take place from July 7th to 10th at Colleton River Plantation Golf Club in Bluffton, South Carolina. CJGA Team Canada will face off against the International Junior Golf Tour’s (IJGT) Team USA. The team will consist of four junior boys from each age bracket, as well as  two junior girls. All players entered in qualifying events will be pooled into one national list for each age category. Scores will then be adjusted based on the difficulty of weather conditions, course conditions, course slope, and course rating and will then be sorted. Following this, the team will be chosen by the CJGA International Selection Committee.

The Junior World Golf Championships will be held July 15th to 18th in San Diego, California. CJGA Team Canada will consist of over 30 junior golfers in various age division from across Canada competing against 1000 participants from over 73 countries. The selection process for this event will be done by merging all results from the designated qualifier events into one national field for each age category. Scores will then be adjusted based on the difficulty of weather conditions, course conditions, course slope, and course rating and will then be sorted by the CJGA committee. The juniors with the lowest adjusted scores in each age category will then be selected to represent CJGA Team Canada.
