CJGA Partners With The Art of Productions Inc.

Markham, ON (March 28, 2008) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Art of Productions Inc. for its 2008 version of “The Art of Golf”.  Scheduled to run April 29th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the event, also supported by Nike Golf Canada, will feature a lineup of several of the world’s top golf instructors.

As a result of the new partnership, junior golfers and their families will benefit from a reduced ticket price for the unique event with all proceeds from junior ticket sales going directly back to support CJGA initiatives.

“’The Art of Golf’ will prove to be a valuable learning experience for anyone interested in improving their game,” said Earl Fritz, Executive Director of the CJGA.  “It will be a stellar lineup of speakers who have worked with the best golfers in the world.”

Tickets are currently selling for $99 each but with the CJGA discount, adults will pay $69 while junior golfers will only be charged $20.  In order to receive the junior discount, one adult must accompany the junior.

Speaker List

Hank Haney (Swing Coach)

  • Has taught more than 200 touring professionals from PGA, LPGA, European, Japanese and Asian Tours, including Mark O’Meara and Tiger Woods
  • His students have won every major championship in professional golf, amateur golf and junior golf
  • Rated Golf Digest Magazine’s Top 3 Teachers in the World in 2007

Marius Filmalter (Putting Coach)

  • Has coached many of the top U.S. and international tour players
  • Prime contributor to the development of the Sam PuttLab and TOMI product line
  • Spearheaded research at the University of Munich on motor strategy disturbances such as yips

Keith Kleven (Physical Therapist)

  • Has worked with Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes and continues to work with athletes such as Greg Maddux, Mark O’Meara and Tiger Woods
  • Founding member of the Sports/Physical Therapy section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • Received the prestigious Ron Peyton Award of the APTA
