CJGA Silicone Wristbands Now Available
- Proceeds to Alleviate Junior Golf Costs -

Reducing the costs associated with playing competitive junior golf in Canada has and always will be a mandate of the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) and it is with great anticipation that the CJGA is pleased to launch a fundraising program to help make these goals a reality.

Now available for purchase are unique CJGA silicone wristbands embroidered with the CJGA logo as well as its slogan, “Your Future Starts Here”.  Proceeds from the sale of these wristbands will assist the CJGA in reducing costs associated with:

• Fostering the growth of competitive junior golf in Canada
• Building internationally recognized junior golf camps
• Reducing costs associated with international travel for CJGA Team Canada

The wristbands will be available only through the CJGA at a cost of $5.00 each.

The CJGA recognizes that the future of our country lies with our youth.  Their success will be determined by the efforts we make today to develop the character, maturity and personal growth that will enable them to take their rightful place in a highly competitive international environment. These are the very skills the CJGA Competitive Development Program builds.  By helping junior golfers, we are helping to build a strong future for Canada through and for its youth.

But we have only scratched the surface.  

While golf is a healthy, wholesome activity that relies on both physical and mental discipline to succeed, it is also relatively expensive.  We have made every effort to open the door to all young people, regardless of economic means, but the reality is that without greater financial support, these efforts will be met with limited success.
