We are working to have this corrected) MORRISBURG, ON (September 8, 2008) – After three top-five results in 2008, Jean Sebastian Bonin of Deux-Montagnes, Que. finally earned a division win and he did it in style, posting two rounds of 70 (-2) to earn the distinction of CJGA Ottawa PGA Junior Champion in the final event of the season for the Ottawa/Quebec region. Bonin, 15, recorded three birdies and an eagle over the course of his final 18 holes and defeated Maxim Marengere of Chelsea, Que. by a convincing nine stroke margin. "I played well," admitted Bonin. "I hit lots of greens and fairways and putted well. The greens were slow but I liked them." Greg Holmes of Ottawa, Ont. finished in third spot in the Boys 14-16 Division at 154 (+10). In other divisional races, Luke Helmkay of Ingleside, Ont. made up a five stroke first round deficit on Sunday in posting a two day total of 161 (+17) to earn the Boys 17 – 19 Division while Michael Reaume of Ottawa. collected his first division title competing in the Boys 13 & Under Division. Katherine Gravel-Coursol also became a first time winner in 2008 in her fourth start of the year. The Mirabel, Que. resident posted consecutive rounds of 81.
