“I’m happy with how the team played today,” said Brad Kinvig, Non-Playing Captain of Team Canada. “We left some putts out here and that was the difference maker. I’m feeling confident about alternate shot tomorrow and it should be another fun day of golf.

Klint Talmadge, Non-Playing Captain of Team USA, is proud of the way his team performed.

“I’m excited about today’s outcome,” he said. “Several matches were back and forth and it really created a great atmosphere for everyone involved. It could have went either way, but our guys grinded it out near the end. I’m looking forward to the next two days of competition.”

The North America Cup continues tomorrow with seven matches of alternate shot. Tee times begin at 7:00 a.m. Spectators are encouraged to attend.
