Kaneff Junior Series Continues At Lionhead

Richmond Hill, Ont. (July 24, 2011) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is excited to return to Lionhead Golf & Country Club tomorrow for the fourth event of the Kaneff Junior Series, which marks the mid-point of this great series of one-day tournaments. Juniors should be challenged on the par-72 Masters course, which is considered one of the toughest courses in Ontario. The front nine of Lionhead has tight fairways lined by trees on many holes, while the back nine is known for being a real head-banger with large ponds challenging golfers to hit accurate shots on a number of holes.

So far this season, the CJGA has travelled to Century Pines, Royal Niagara, and Streetsville Glen Golf Clubs as part of the Kaneff Junior Series. Next week, the CJGA will return to Lionhead to face off on the Legends course, followed by Royal Ontario Golf Club. The Kaneff Junior Series Finale, an invite-only event that pits the top performers at the Kaneff events against each other, will take place at the end of August at Carlisle Golf & Country Club.

Tee times begin tomorrow at 6:54 a.m. Spectators are encouraged to attend.
