CJGA 2011 College Golf Combine

The Canadian Junior Golf Association is proud to present the first annual College Golf Combine hosted by Ralph Bauer/David Fritz. This event is designed for aspiring NCAA and Collegiate players male and female and will be held October 1st and 2nd in Toronto. The Combine is designed to provide you with:

·         The most accurate assessment of your current skill set imaginable
·         A detailed improvement plan written by Ralph Bauer/David Fritz
·         The most comprehensive resume/profile available in the world that can be used to showcase your talents to over 600 US College/University coaches
·         Answers to  all questions regarding College/University recruitment
Saturday-October 1st   
·         10 a.m. arrival at the Golf Lab golf lab
·         10-10:30 introductions and overview of program
·         10:30-3:30 trackman assessment/report, weight shift analysis/report using SAM Force Plate, Kinematic Sequence profiling/report using K-Vest, golf specific biomechanical evaluation and personalized conditioning program recommendations, putting stroke evaluation/report using SAM Putt Lab, full swing video production, equipment evaluations including dynamic and static testing
·         3:30-5:00 College/University Seminar hosted by Ralph Bauer followed by Question and Answer period
Sunday-October 2nd
  • 8 a.m-tee times commence for a 36 hole event that will allow coaching staff to observe players in competition to assist in recommendations and to allow us to act as references for US College/University Coaches
At the conclusion of the afternoon draw we will provide you with a digital copy of your student athlete profile which will be the most comprehensive profile available in the world, you will receive not only the most comprehensive resume package to provide to US College Coaches but also some extremely useful game improvement suggestions such as:
  • Full swing mechanical suggestions
  • Putting stroke evaluation and recommendations
  • Equipment evaluations including Dynamic and Static testing
  • Golf Specific Biomechanical evaluation and recommendations
  • Kinematic Sequence profiling using K-Vest
  • Weight Shift analysis using SAM Force Plate
This is the ultimate combine for the player who is serious about marketing their skills to US College Coaches and is looking for a total game evaluation helping you break through to the next level. For information on how to register please contact Brad Parkins at or at 905-731-6388 ext 221.
In addition to the combine a scholarship counselling service will be offered. This service is performed by Ralph Bauer and has had 100% success rate over the past 4 years. It is a program designed to mentor young student athletes and their families towards making informed decisions regarding US College/University golf scholarship options.
Ralph will:
  • Send out your resume via email to over 1000 U.S. College Coaches introducing the student-athlete and acting as a qualified reference
  • Will send out monthly newsletters to U.S. College/University Coaches that we have targeted as potential placements highlighting recent achievements
  • Will phone targeted coaches to assist in the placement
  • Explain the NCAA recruiting process as it develops Place the aforementioned reports and create a one of a kind online bio for Coaches to examine (in the last 12 months alone student/athletes Ralph has mentored have obtained scholarship offers from University of Michigan, University of Houston, University of Charleston, IUP, Wisconsin etc.)
  • If/when you get offers or inquiries from University/College Coaches I will be available to assist in the "game" i.e. the offer process
  • If necessary assist in planning your tournament schedule in order to maximize your ability to impress U.S. Coaches
  • Provide detailed information on Provincial, National and American/World ranking systems
  • Provide recommended training schedules and coaching streams

Combine Cost: $795 + HST
Scholarship Counselling Services: $2000 + HST
Note: The combine is limited to the first 12 participants
If any of the participants want to participate in both programs they will receive a credit of $500 towards the Scholarship Counselling Services. (the cost of the full year service would then be $1500 plus HST.
