(Markham, Ont.) - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) and Trinidad & Tobago Golf Association (TTGA) are pleased to announce their respective team members for the second annual Stephen Ames Cup. The Ryder Cup style tournament will be held in Moka, Trinidad from July 26th to 28th at St. Andrews Golf Club where PGA Tour Professional STEPHEN AMES will act as the tournament's host.

The Stephen Ames Cup is supported by the Stephen Ames Foundation and Nike Golf Canada. The event promotes goodwill and sportsmanship in the game of golf between the two countries. The 2005 Stephen Ames Cup was captured by CJGA Team Canada by a final score of 10 - 6.
About the Stephen Ames Cup
The Canadian Junior Golf Association, in partnership with PGA Tour Professional Stephen Ames and the Trinidad & Tobago Golf Association, presents the second annual Stephen Ames Cup, to be held July 28th - 30th in Trinidad. Stephen Ames is teaming up with his birth country of Trinidad & Tobago and his new home, Canada, to create a tournament so elite that only the top eight junior golfers in Canada and Trinidad & Tobago, aged 11-19, will be eligible to participate. The three-day event will take on a Ryder Cup format. Stephen Ames himself will be attending the tournament. The qualifying process for CJGA Team Canada will be done through CJGA Nike Golf Junior Series events on the 2006 schedule.
