(February 1, 2012) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the endorsement of the Family Tees Program to The Glencoe Golf & Country Club in Calgary, Alberta. The Family Tee’s program, developed in 2010 through a partnership with Granite Golf Club and the Canadian Junior Golf Association, was implemented to offer families a way to spend quality time together on the golf course while making it a fun experience for everyone.

(January 23, 2012) - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the hiring of British Columbia PGA professional Brad Ewart as the new CJGA Tournament Director for the province of British Columbia today. Brad begins his tenure with CJGA immediately and will oversee the British Columbia event operations and continuing to grow on the CJGA’s six stage competitive development program that speaks to the British Columbia junior golfer.

Palm Harbor, FL (December 30, 2011) – The final round of the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) 19th Annual World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek took place today on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort. Mika Liu of Bradenton, FL and Kyle MacDonald of Oakville, ON lead the tournament from start to finish capturing the Girls Division and Boys 14 & Under Division respectively, while Chad MerzBacher from Dublin, OH managed to earn the outright victory after entering the day tied for the lead in the Boys 15-19 Division.

Palm Harbor, FL (December 29, 2011) – Action shifted to the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort for the second round of the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) 19th Annual World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek. Warmer weather and a new course meant anything could happen on ‘moving day’. Canadians took full advantage in the Boys 14 & Under and the Girls Division holding down two of the top three spots in each division.

Palm Harbor, FL (December 28, 2011) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) hosted the opening round today of the 19th Annual World Junior Challenge, presented by Golfweek. Cold temperatures in the morning did not stop this international field of juniors from posting low scores on the North Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort in their first step towards being crowned champion.
