CJGA/CPGA Fund

The Canadian Junior Golf Association, in conjunction with the Ontario PGA, Ottawa PGA, Northern Ontario PGA, Manitoba PGA and Saskatchewan PGA, has announced an opportunity for current or past CJGA participants to apply for assistance with their first year enrollment dues with the CPGA.
The initiative allows CJGA members in the provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario to apply for the funding of their first year CPGA dues through their participation in CJGA events, academic achievements, and contribution to their local community. Three funds will be allocated in 2004-two to Ontario residents, one to a Manitoba resident and one to a Saskatchewan resident.
The CJGA Saskatchewan PGA fund, CJGA Ontario PGA, CJGA Northern Ontario PGA, CJGA Manitoba PGA and CJGA Ottawa PGA fund will be awarded to the individuals who best meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Canadian citizen
- Must attend college or university in either Canada or the United States
- Must hold a post secondary academic average of 75% or greater or GPA of 3.00 or greater
- Must be a CJGA participant for at least two years
- Involvement with local community
- Reference letter from CPGA professional
