MacDonald Crowned Low Overall at Big Chief Beef Jerky Alberta Championship

Markham, Ont. (August 22, 2007)- The Canadian Junior Golf Association held its seventh of eight Alberta tournaments this week at Elbow Spring Golf Club in Calgary, Alta., with the annual Big Chief Beef Jerky Alberta Championship.  Many of Alberta’s top junior golfers competed including the low overall winner Gerry MacDonald, 18, of Chestemere, Alta., who recorded a two-day total of 141 highlighted by a final round 68 (-4).
