Considered among the top national junior events in Canada, the Nike Golf Junior Championship is an event like no other on the CJGA schedule. Juniors participating in this event will gain valuable experience because of the event's limited number of spots and field strength.

Format:
    - 54 Hole stroke play event
Field:
    - The field will be made up with the top player in each age category from each Nike Golf Junior Series event held across Canada. In addition NIKE Golf and the CJGA retain a selected amount of exemptions to be awarded outside the requirements.

Requirements:
Juniors who wish to be participating in the NIKE Golf Junior Championship must meet the following requirements:
    - Juniors must qualify through a NIKE Golf Junior Series event
    - Juniors must be 19 years of age or younger as of the first round on the Nike Golf Junior Championship to qualify
    - Juniors must be in good standing with the Canadian Junior Golf Association
    - If the winner in an age group does not participate in the NIKE Golf Junior Championship, the spot will be awarded to the runner up

Compensation The CJGA will award travel assistance to those who qualify for the NIKE Golf Junior Championship.

All juniors who play in the NIKE Golf Junior Championship will receive a pair of NIKE golf shoes and 1 dozen NIKE One Golf Balls.
