Markham, Ont. (August 11, 2006) - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the launch of an on-line auction featuring one-of-a kind memorabilia items with the proceeds going to support the CJGA International Travel Assistance Program.

The auction, developed with the assistance of Nike Golf Canada, will assist the CJGA in covering the costs associated with its international travel schedules for CJGA Team Canada. In 2006, the CJGA will represent Canada in nearly 15 international tournaments in a number of countries including the United States, Trinidad & Tobago, Japan, South Africa, Scotland, and Belgium.

The auction is open to any individual who wishes to bid and will be available on-line through www.cjga.com/charity-auctions. Bidding will get underway on Friday, August 14th for all items and will wrap up on August 24th. All items will be accompanied by a letter of authentication.
