Markham, Ont. - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with the Junior Golf Academy of Canada (JGAC) featuring instructor SEAN FOLEY in Orlando, Fla.

The JGAC is an intensive junior golf development program that integrates secondary school academics and coaching under the direction of Sean Foley, who is also CJGA National Coach and swing coach to PGA Tour star Stephen Ames, winner of the 2006 Players Championship.

The JGAC training facility is located at Orange County National Golf Club, which boasts the world’s largest practice facility and is equipped with leading edge training technology.

Along with supervised tournament play, the program provides training in the technical, physical and mental elements of golf for junior golfers focused on careers as elite amateurs or touring professionals.

Lodging in modern condominiums, transportation to two acclaimed private schools, and supervision of high school aged junior golfers is included with the registration fee.

“We are pleased to enter this relationship with the JGAC which creates additional opportunities for CJGA players to receive world-class coaching in a sunbelt location and take their games to the next level,” said EARL FRITZ, Executive Director of the CJGA.

JEFF HAY, JGAC Director of Operations and a CPGA Professional, said: “We are looking forward to working with the CJGA to offer our program that will enable Canadian junior golfers to become elite amateurs, college players and touring professionals.”

As an ongoing support system for post-junior players, the JGAC offers programs to develop college players such as CLAUDINE FOONG and ROBBIE GREENWELL—both CJGA graduatesand professionals such as STEPHEN AMES, J.C. DEACON, BRIAN McCANN, LISA FERNANDES and SALIMAH MUSSANI.

Ranked one of Canada’s Top 10 golf instructors by the National Post, Foley has long been a renowned teacher of top juniors, touring professionals and college players at the ClubLink Academy at Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ont.

Clinics at the JGAC Orlando teaching facility are offered during Christmas and March Break, as well as select dates through 2007.
