Seven junior golfers given priceless opportunity with Richard Zokol in Vancouver

Markham, Ont. – HSBC Bank Canada, in association with the Canadian Junior Golf Association, proudly hosted seven lucky junior golfers and their parent’s at Swan-E-Set Resort and Country Club on Saturday September 16, 2006. 

Invited guests were flown to Vancouver from all over Canada for this once in a lifetime opportunity.  The juniors, aged between12-17, were chosen by HSBC Bank Canada after each entered the Golf with HSBC contest at www.golfwithHSBC.ca between June and August.  As part of the contest, junior golfers submitted short essays that related lessons learned through golf such as fair play, etiquette, patience and how these lessons carry forward into aspects of their lives. 

Both parents and kids participated in an exclusive Master Golf Clinic with PGA Tour Professional Richard Zokol.  Richard Zokol offered his insight of how to master putting, driving, approach shots and off-season golf training!  Following the clinics the group was treated to a round of golf at Swan-E-Set, and a private dinner with lots of great prizing!
