CJGA B.C. Fall Series to Conclude at Redwoods
Markham, Ont. (September 27, 2007) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association will wrap up its 2007 British Columbia schedule this weekend, September 29th and 30th, at The Redwoods Golf Course in Langley, B.C. A strong field is expected to compete.
The tournament is the tenth and final event on the B.C. schedule.
In the Boys 13 & Under Division, Kevin Lee of Surrey, B.C. will be in search of his third victory of 2007 as the outstanding young golfer has not finished lower that fourth in three starts. Guuntas Sidhu, 12, of Port Coquitlam, B.C. will also be in search of a third victory having won both previous Fall Series events in the province.
With three top five finishes on his resume in 2007, Brian Jung, 14, of Maple Ridge, B.C. will be in search of his first win. Expect Nicholas Russell, 14, of Vancouver and Harrison Clegg, 15, of Langley to also do well in the flight.
John Koo, 18, of Langley will look to add a second Fall Series win to his credit at Redwoods in the Boys 17 – 19 flight. Dylan Nickel, 17, of New Westminster, B.C. should do well as should Han Baek, 18, of Maple Ridge.
Young star, Anica Yoo, 13, of Port Coquitlam will be in search of her third consecutive victory on tour at The Redwoods after winning both Fall Series titles thus far. Lauren Taylor, 15, of Nelson, B.C. will be looking to improve on her second place finish last weekend where she tied Huang Hsuan-Szu, 15, of Qualicum Beach, B.C.
