CJGA Baka Fall Series to Wrap Up at Caledon Woods
- Includes Mizuno All-Canadian Award Presentation -

Markham, Ont. (September 27, 2007) – The Canadian Junior Golf Association will wrap up its Ontario schedule this coming weekend, September 29th and 30th, at Caledon Woods Golf Club in Caledon, Ont.  The event will also feature the presentation of the Mizuno All-Canadian Award to the 2007 recipients, Julia Hodgson and Michael Bosch.

Hodgson and Bosch will accept their award from Mizuno Canada president John Stacey at approximately 6:00 p.m. following the completion of the first round.  Junior golfers are encouraged to stay for lunch, draw prizes and giveaways.

Top contenders in the event include CJGA National Champion, Lucas Kim, 13, of Toronto, Ont., CJGA Team Canada member, Kristopher Kowalchuk, 13, of Burlington, Ont. and Ryan Borg, 12, of Mississauga, Ont. in the Boys 13 & Under Division. 

The Boys 14 – 16 Division should be contested closely between several juniors including Albin Choi, 15, of Toronto, Richard Jung, 14, of North York, Ont., and Shyamal Nagindas, 14, of Aurora, Ont.

In the Boys 17 – 19 Division, Ben Glynn, 18, of Brockville, Ont. is in search of his third division title of 2007 but will be in tough.  Jed Walmsley, 17, of Cheltenham, Ont. and CJGA Team Canada member, Alex Dumais, 17, of Caledon East, Ont. should push Glynn for the division title.

Brogan McKinnon, 12, of Mississauga, Ont. is looking for a second Baka Fall Series title in the Girls Division at Caledon Woods after blowing away the field at Eagle Ridge Golf Club only two weeks ago.

Tee-times will get underway at 11:00 a.m. for both days of the tournament.  Please note that though parents are encouraged to watch, spectator carts will NOT be permitted on the golf course.
