The Canadian Junior Golf Association is the premier junior tour in Canada for golfers aged 5-19. In 2008, the CJGA will offer over 90 tournaments across the country in the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. The CJGA conducts two tours under its umbrella; CJGA Junior Tour for juniors aged 11-19 and CJGA Junior Linkster Tour for juniors aged 5-12. The majority of events on the CJGA Junior Tour and all of the events on the CJGA Junior Linkster Tour are filled on a first come first serve basis. All you need to get started is a passion for the game of golf!!

Considerations
-The CJGA Junior Tour is open to golfers of all skill levels-from beginner to elite
-Junior Tour events are multi day, from two rounds to as many as four
-The CJGA conducts several championship events on the Junior Tour that require performance based entry

CJGA Junior Linkster Tour
Considerations
-Junior Linkster events (Ages 5-12) are one day in length (Junior Linkster Tour Championship is an exception)
-Caddies are permitted
-CJGA will set up course yardage according to ages of participants
-Each tournament has a set entry fee listed at www.cjga.com
-Maximum 10 strokes per hole
-Age Divisions: Boys 8 & Under, Boys 9-10, Boys 11-12, Girls 9 & Under, Girls 10-12
-Entry fees range from $65-$75.
-HSBC Clinics for Kids will be conducted before each CJGA Junior Linkster tournament.
Benefits

International Qualifying

The CJGA represents Canada at a number of international tournaments through both the CJGA Junior Tour and CJGA Junior Linkster Tour. Qualifying tournaments will be conducted across the country for each international tournament. Examples include the Mizuno North America Cup, Stephen Ames Cup, Euro Junior Golf Cup, and US Kids World Golf Championship.
All competitors participating in a CJGA international qualifying tournament will be eligible to qualify for CJGA Team Canada. Spots available for the international teams vary according to the tournament.
