CJGA Introduces Rewards Card
- Junior Golfers Able to Raise Funds to Alleviate Fees -
Markham, Ont. (August 24, 2007) –The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) has launched a new Rewards Card program that will provide benefits to both cardholders and to CJGA members. The nationally accepted discount card offers reduced prices at a number of partnering businesses across the country.
The CJGA Rewards Card will benefit juniors directly as a portion of the profits from cards sold will go directly towards CJGA initiatives including the CJGA international team fund as well as growing the CJGA Junior Linkster Tour (Ages 5 – 12) on a national scale.
“We hope this new program alleviates some of the financial pressure on junior golfers and their families,” said Earl Fritz, executive director of the CJGA. “Junior golfers, through a little extra work, will significantly reduce the costs associated with playing tournament golf regularly through the CJGA Rewards Card.”
The CJGA Rewards Card will sell for $35 and a percentage of each card sold can be used by junior golfers as a credit to their CJGA fees including tournament and membership registrations or even international team fees. For each card sold, the junior will receive a $15 credit to be used for towards these fees with no limit.
The card is already accepted across Canada by numerous businesses including golf courses, restaurants, hotels, and retail stores, and the list of partners is continuously growing. With so many opportunities for savings, the CJGA Rewards Card has something for everyone. Visit www.cjga.com/rewards to view some of the partnering businesses where the card is accepted.
For more information about the CJGA Rewards Card, please contact the CJGA at 1-877-508-1069.
