For the past 17 years, the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) has been conducting the World Junior Golf Challenge in Florida. The World Junior Challenge is an event that allows juniors to compete in a high calibre event during the winter break to continue their development. Each year, the World Junior Challenge attracts participants from all over the world. This year, 13 countries will be represented at the event including Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, England, Germany, Indonesia, Spain, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, United States, and Wales.

The World Junior Challenge takes place December 27-30. On December 27th, there is a parent/junior best ball event, providing juniors the chance to play the competition course with a parent in a fun, yet competitive event. The three day event will begin on December 28th followed by 3 rounds of competition, wrapping up December 30th. For more information on the event and to view the event application, click here. In addition to the event, the CJGA has developed a two day Tournament Preparation Camp for those juniors interested with the Core Golf Junior Academy, a partner of the CJGA’s. The camp will take place on December 21-22 at the Core Golf Junior Academy at Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida, just 15 minutes away from Reunion Resort.
