Team PUMA Rules and REgulations
1. Team PUMA is open to all CJGA members, and residents of Canada, between the ages of
13-19 inclusive. Six juniors from across Canada will be selected to Team PUMA
To apply for Team PUMA, complete a maximum 90 second video application highlighting the following criteria:
1. why you should be on Team PUMA
2. fashion style on the golf course (clothes, accessories, etc)
3. your favorite band/music style
4. golfing accomplishments
5. academic accomplishments
A joint selection committee (CJGA and PUMA staff members) will select four juniors to
Team PUMA. This will occur within four (4) weeks of the Application Closing Date.
The junior and/or parent/guardian of the selected juniors will be notified by telephone.
No purchase necessary.
2. Contest will be open from March 16 - June 30, 2010.
3. Limit one (1) application entry per person during the entire period.
4. The chances of being selected are dependent upon the total number of eligible applications received prior to the application deadline.
5. Contest is open to CJGA members who are Canadian residents between, and including, the ages of 13 and 19 except employees (and members of their immediate families and persons with whom they reside) of PUMA and its subsidiaries and affiliates and their agencies, and the contest judging organization.
6. All decisions of CJGA with respect to all aspects of the process are final.
7. Before selected entrants may be declared a winner of any prize, each selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, skill testing, mathematical question. The parent/guardian of the selected entrants will be contacted by telephone within four (4) weeks of the contest closing date. If the CJGA is unable to contact the parent/guardian of a selected entrant within four (4) weeks after making reasonable efforts to do so, or if the parent/guardian of a selected entrant is unwilling or unable to comply with the contest rules, that entry will be disqualified and another entry will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Before entrant may be declared a winner, selected entrant's parent/guardian will be required to sign the contest sponsor's declaration and release form:
(A) Confirming compliance with contest rules and acceptance of prizes as offered;
(B) Acknowledging the non-responsibility of the CJGA and the prize suppliers and
their respective agents in respect to injuries, accident, loss or misfortune relating
to the prize;
(C) Acknowledging the CJGA and its agents' right to publish and/or broadcast the
winner's picture, name, address, voices and statements without further
compensation other than the prize offered.
9. All entries become the property of the CJGA and none will be returned.
10. Prize must be accepted as offered and no substitutions are allowed. Prize is not transferable or convertible to cash. The CJGA reserves the right to make substitutions in the event of non-availability of any prize or any component thereof.
11. The CJGA reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.
12. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations.
13. Prize includes (based on availability): 1 golf shoe, 1 lifestyle shoe, 2 polos, 1 belt, 1 pant, 1 short, 1 sweater/sweatshirt. These are at the discretion of PUMA North America.
