WORLD JUNIOR CHALLENGE

The 1st Annual World Junior Challenge-Team Competition will be the first multi-team, international junior golf championship conducted in Canada. The World Junior Challenge-Team Competition has been developed to provide elite junior golfers around the world with an opportunity to compete in a high profile international event. Richard Zokol, a PGA Tour professional for 23 years, will host the event.

Format
Three Rounds of stroke play. The three best scores from each team will count towards the team total for each competitive round. The team with the lowest total at the end of the event will be declared the winner of The World Junior Challenge-Team Competition. The medalist will also be recognized.

Teams
4 - Boys 18 & Under (as of September 18th, 2007)

Requirements
Due to the limited number of spots available for the tournament, the CJGA Team Canada Committee will appoint the team base on the requirements listed below:

    -Juniors must meet the age requirement outline in the international info
    -Juniors must be a member of the Canadian Junior Golf Association
    -Juniors must be in good standing with the Canadian Junior Golf Association
    -Juniors must be a Canadian citizen and hold a valid passport

Selection Process: The CJGA Team Canada Selection Committee will determine the juniors who represent CJGA Team Canada by the following process:

1. Juniors will be selected based on one or all of the following criteria:
    -Merit Point Standing
    -Past Tournament Results
    -Past International Experience
    -Any Other Outstanding Performances

2. Juniors with serious code of conduct violations will be removed from the list
